Cinnamon Roll Cake

Okay, let me begin by saying… OH. MY. GOODNESS!  I have never tasted anything so wonderful!


  • 3 cups Flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup Sugar
  • 4 teaspoons Baking Powder
  • 1 1/2 cups Milk
  • 2 Eggs
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla
  • 1/2 cup ( 1 stick)  Butter, melted
  • 1 cup ( 2 sticks) Butter, softened
  • 1 cup Brown Sugar
  • 2 Tablespoons Flour
  • 1 Tablespoon Cinnamon
  • 2 cups Powdered Sugar
  • 5 Tablespoons Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla


Mix all the ingredients for the cake together in a large bowl except for the stick of butter.


Melt the stick of butter.


Slowly add the butter to the cake batter a little at a time and stir together.


Spray a 9×13 casserole dish with cooking spray and pour in the cake batter.


Mix together all the ingredients for the Topping.


Drop evenly over the cake batter or not so evenly like me.


With a knife, swirl the topping into the cake batter very gently a few times until you see those pretty swirly colors. Pop this into a preheated 350 degree oven fr 28-32 minutes.  Mine took 35 minutes so just test the middle and make sure it is done before pulling it out.


While cake is baking, mix together the ingredients for the Glaze.


Once the cake is completely baked, drizzle the glaze over the entire top.  Serve warm now or cooled later and just you wait until you taste this awesomeness!!!
