After meeting a dear friend for lunch at Moe’s, I had to stop at Winthrop Lake and just walk around.
The weather is screaming “FALL”, which means we have about a week or less of this cool weather and then diving into the bone chill.
I do wish “fall” would last a little longer. I am enjoying all the windows open and fresh air circling the house.
In the mornings and evenings, the fireplace comes on and chases the chill away.
There are still quite a few fall, flowering plants and trees that give barren areas some beautiful life.
A bamboo oasis near the lake. You can squeeze right in there and sit in the middle of this small bamboo forest.
The last few flowers that are hanging on before the frost comes to claim them all.
